Cycle Schemes for Employees

Save money and spread the cost of a new eBike.

Purchasing an eBike has never been easier or more affordable now we’re part of both the Green Commute Initiative and Cyclescheme; initiatives enabling employers to offer their employees the opportunity to purchase an eBike without the upfront cost, rather spreading the cost over an agreed time. We offer the scheme at County eBikes for Mark2 or Batribike.

How do they work?

If you’re employed, receive your salary through PAYE, are over the age of 16, and your employer is part of either Cycle To Work Schemes, you can apply!

Cycle To Work Schemes enables your employer to purchase your preferred eBike for you in return for a small, manageable deduction to your salary, usually over a 12 month period, but up to 24 months.

This means that instead of purchasing your eBike for an upfront cost, you can spread the cost over an agreed length of time - making paying for your bike much easier and more affordable.

What’s more, because the deduction is made before tax, you’ll end up paying less tax and National Insurance, which will save you up to 47% of the cost of your eBike overall.

Cyclescheme

Cyclescheme

Cyclescheme is the UK’s most popular Cycle To Work Scheme and is an employee benefit that saves you 25-39% on an eBike and accessories. You pay nothing upfront and all repayments are taken before tax from your salary by your employer.
